Nike is celebrating Air Max Day in 2023 by bringing back an original Air Max design, with the release of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 Big Bubble Sport Red. The Big Bubble pays homage to the original design of the Nike Air Max 1, which featured a bigger air unit.
The Air Max 1 ‘86 Big Bubble released as Nikes premier Air Max Day release in 2023. The sneakers are constructed using grey synthetic nubuck, white mesh and red synthetic suede across the uppers and a large air unit on the midsole. Nike used Sport Red branding on the tongue and heel of the sneaker.
