The Nike A'One in Black and Dark Smoke Grey is A'ja Wilson's first signature basketball shoe with Nike, released on October 1, 2025 as part of the A'One's ongoing seasonal colorway rollout following the shoe's May 2025 debut in the Pink A'ura launch colorway, featuring a lightweight and breathable mesh upper with midfoot band providing optimal arch support and movement control in a Black, Dark Smoke Grey, Dark Grey, and Metallic Silver palette that is the most broadly wearable and most daily-use appropriate expression of the A'One across its first season of colorways. The A'One was designed by lead footwear designer Ben Nethongkome over two years in close collaboration with Wilson, incorporating pearl motifs and finishes throughout the construction nodding to the pearl necklace Wilson's grandmother gifted her as a child as a wearable symbol of strength, making the A'One one of the most personally meaningful first signature shoes in the history of WNBA athlete footwear. Wilson wore the A'One during her historic 2025 WNBA season in which she became the first player in the league's nearly 30-year history to win a championship, Finals MVP, league MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and scoring title in a single season, making the Black Dark Smoke Grey A'One a colorway worn during one of the most decorated individual seasons in professional basketball history.
